Alternative weapon rules for the Ork Battlefortress
The Ork Battlefortress is a mean machine, well according to the Boyz
it is
in reality a single Battlefortress is a real easy target to
hit and destroy. Though they can give out quite a bit of firepower (eight)
the range if quite low for such a points heavy machine, 45cm.

A Battle Fortress
The 360 rule is quite simple, 8 times 45 is 360, therefore considering
the firepower multiplied by the range equals 360 then you can change the
combination prior to the game (and with the consent of your opponent).
Therefore possible combinations are

The rationale is that before a battle a Battlefortress crew may decide
what weapons and ammunition they will carry, more long ranged weapons,
or heavier more damaging short ranged ordanance.
It is not advisable to go above 60cm or below 15cm ranges as this starts
to get a bit silly, FP 120 at 3cm for example.
