Warhammer 40000 Basing Kit

When Games Workshop released Cities of Death, they released an Urban Basing Kit. That box set contained 2 pots of slate, 2 pots of resin details and 1 pot of razorwire, I managed to get one of the kits, which sadly was a limited edition and is now no longer available.

However it was very popular so it was nice to see that Games Workshop have released a new Warhammer 40000 Basing Kit which is not a limited edition.

This box set contains 2 pots of slate, 2 pots of resin details, 1 spare tub and 1 brass etched frame.

Here are some bases, I have used parts from the basing kit, I will be using these for some Ork reinforcements.

Here are the bases with the Ork legs attached. I have also stuck on some of Games Workshop's modelling sand.

Another view, this includes a base (left) which uses a resin piece from the Urban Basing Kit.

Having finished off the Orks I gave the models a black undercoat.
