How do I insert a photo or video into an e-mail on my iPhone?

Most people wanting to e-mail a photo or a video from the iPhone will probably start in the Photos app and e-mail from there (see screenshot below).

However if you create an e-mail or reply or forward an e-mail in the Mail app then you might be wondering how you insert a photo or video into the e-mail.

You can copy and paste from the Photos app and then paste into an e-mail. There is though a way of inserting a photo or video whilst in the Mail app.

It is not an intuitive process. Tap and hold where you want the photo or video, and up will pop the Select options.

Tap the arrow to the right and a new option will be available Insert Photo or Video.

Tap and then you will either be able to take a photograph or video; or you can insert a photo or video from your Camera Roll.

As mentioned earlier, you can e-mail straight from the Photos app, tap the Share button.

As you can see there are other options available too.
