When I start iTunes I get an Sonix SN9C201 Webcam Plugin error
When starting iTunes, it fails to start and you get the following error.
iTunes quit unexpectedly while using the Sonix SN9C201 WebCam plugin.
This error is confusing as it happens even though you don't have a Sonix SN9C201 WebCam and the iSight camera in the Mac is not even made by Sonix.
The error happens because of a file Sonix SN9C201 WebCam.component placed in ~/Library/Quicktime when Skype is installed.
If you delete this file, which isn't needed by either iTunes or Skype you will no longer get the error.
