My Google Nexus One phone is low on storage space, what should I do?

The Google Nexus One comes with both onboard storage and a Micro SD Card slot.

The onboard storage is quite low and I have on regular occasions run out of space. This space is taken up by the apps you have on the phone (not the images and video you have taken, which is stored on the SD Card).

Clicking the notification you will find a list of apps installed sorted by size.

List of apps

Delete those apps you don’t need or don’t use, you can always install them again later.

List of apps

This will then free up the space you need.

Another way of freeing up space is to move compatible apps from the phone memory to the SD card.

Find an app you can move.

List of apps

Click Move to SD Card the app will then be moved to the SD Card.

Once the app has been moved, you can always move it back again...

This isn’t possible with all apps.
